Home-stay Accommodation

The family unit is a very important part of Colombian culture and we are delighted to be able to offer this experience to our students.

Living with a family is an excellent way to see Colombians in their warmest and most relaxed setting - their own homes.

Family Environment

In general Colombians are very house proud and always make a large effort to keep their houses in a tidy and in an organized state.

We ask that our students understand that there may be some customs and practices that seem strange or unfamiliar to them.

However we also know that our Colombian families make a real effort to make their guests feel very welcome and accepted into their homes.

Excellent learning environment

In general we find that the parents of a family will not speak any English and the children will have learnt a basic amount at school.

This creates an excellent learning environment for students to practice their Spanish as much as they can. We believe there is no better way to improve than through necessity.

Help and Support

In the unlikely event there are any problems or issues regarding their home-stay our students have a local staff member who is available to assist in anyway they can.

Availability and Price

Please note that home-stays are available in both our settings and have an extra fee of $US 120 per week.
