Our Programs
We work hard to make sure you can have the experience you want. By using local Colombians keen and enthusiastic to share their country and culture with you, we can offer you the real Colombia.
All our Spanish classes take place in the mornings between 8am and 12pm while the extra cultural activities normally take place in the afternoons between 2:30pm and 4:30pm
Focussing on conversation and practical skills we have a wide range of programs available to cater for those who simply want to study to those who want to experience the many wonderful aspects of Colombian life and culture.
All students are allowed to take part in our Activity Club. This program, run three days a week, gives students the opportunity to visit the many interesting and varied things to see and do in Ibagué.
Standard Group 20 + 6
Our standard group program allows you to study Spanish with other likeminded students. This program gives you 20 hours of group classes in the morning and 6 hours at our Activity Club in the afternoon every week and is a great option for those on a small budget.
Intensive 20 + 6 NEW!!!
Our Intensive 20 program gives students their own teacher in an one-to-one environment. This program gives you an excellent opportunity to focus on your specific needs. The program also includes free access to our Activity Club 6 hours a week.
Super Intensive 24 + 6 NEW!!!
For those of you who never have enough time we offer our Super Intensive 24 + 6 program. This program is a crash course with 24 hours one-to-one classes as well as free access to our Activity Club
Volunteering
This program gives our students a wonderful opportunity to study Spanish and help local disadvantaged children and adults at the same time.
Horse Riding Academy NEW!!!
Our new Learn Spanish and Riding program is aimed at students who share Colombians passion for horse riding. We use a top grade stables and horses are matched to their students abilities and prefences.
Golf Academy NEW!!!
Golf is big in Colombia. Learn More Than Spanish is very proud to offer this latest program. Study Spanish and perfect your golf technique by attending our excellent coaching academy in a world class club.
Colombian Guitar
Learn the culture of Colombia through its many and varied styles of music. This program caters for absolute beginners, experienced musicians or anyone interested in music. In fact it is great for anyone who wants to learn more about this important part of Colombian culture while studying Spanish at the same time.
Colombian Dance
The whole of Colombia dances, even from an early age. Because of its unique location with coasts on the Caribbean and Pacific as well as the Andean highlands Colombia has a diverse and rich dance culture. Salsa, Mambo, Regueeton or Bachata Colombians dance; This program covers all of these and more with Spanish classes.
Colombian Cooking
Colombia has a wide and varied number of dishes. This programs gives students the chance to learn about the different regions of Colombia through their taste buds. It also gives you a glimpse of everyday Colombia life with visits to local markets and farms.
